Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is currently filming his much-anticipated cameo for the Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again today in Mumbai. Previously, it was reported that Salman had agreed to make a special appearance in the film as a favour for his close friend Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty. Despite recent controversies about the cancellation of his cameo, it has been officially verified that he is on set today.

Pinkvilla has shared a piece of exclusive news that Salman Khan will be filing the climax scene of Singham Again today. Sources close to the production revealed that Khan, known for his commitment, is delivering on his promise to Singham Again even amidst personal challenges. He is set to reprise his iconic role as Chulbul Pandey in what is expected to be a thrilling sequel. The actor will be shooting today as reported, and the post-credit sequence will be submitted to censor board separately to avoid any leaks.

It was reported earlier that Salman scheduled just one day for filming. Rohit Shetty had already initiated preparations for the sequence. Salman’s decision to honour this commitment reflects his strong ties with his friends in the industry.

“Rohit met Salman recently to discuss the exciting plans for his cameo. Salman listened attentively and stated, ‘It’s you and Ajay. You are brothers. That’s reason enough for me to do the cameo,’” one insider shared. The production team is reportedly enthusiastic about this recent development.

Unlike other cameos from Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff, Singham Again promises to deliver a tantalizing moment featuring a brief interaction between Bajirao Singham and Chulbul Pandey. “Only Rohit Shetty could accomplish this monumental crossover that Indian cinema fans have been eagerly awaiting,” the source added.

Chulbul Pandey will make a short appearance in this sequel. Sources suggest he may have a more substantial role in future chapters of the franchise. Singham Again marks the fifth instalment of the popular franchise, Singham. It features Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. The film is all set to hit theatres on November 1, 2024.
